Lara Interpreter is an experimental feature designed to provide consecutive interpretation for meetings. At the beginning of your session, select your two languages. Press and hold the microphone button while you speak. Once you've finished, release the button. Lara will then process your speech in real-time and provide the translated audio.

What is the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?

Consecutive interpreting involves waiting for the speaker to finish a thought or sentence before translating it. Simultaneous interpreting happens in real-time as the speaker talks. Lara uses consecutive interpretation because it allows the AI to capture the full context of the sentence, resulting in significantly higher accuracy for critical meetings and medical appointments.

What is the monthly usage quota for the interpreter?

Lara Interpreter is free to try — registered users get 5 minutes/month at no cost. Upgrade to PRO for 30 minutes/month, or to TEAM for 60 minutes/month per seat (quotas are not pooled). Unregistered users cannot access the Interpreter. See pricing.
