How to Migrate from ModernMT to Lara Translate

Contact migration support team
Email support@laratranslate.com and mention you're a ModernMT user. Tell us which tools you use — Trados Studio, memoQ, API, or localization workflows. We'll confirm your migration path and timeline.
We migrate your account for you
Once you agree on the migration plan, we create your Lara Translate account and manage the migration for you including transferring your translation memories and glossaries. We notify you when your account is ready.
Connect Lara to your workflow
Your account is ready. Install the Lara Translate plugin for Trados Studio or memoQ, or start using the Lara API in your integration.
Getting started with Lara

API & Developer Users
Your existing ModernMT API key continues to work during the transition. When ready, generate your new Lara API key under Settings → API Keys and update your integration.
Trados Studio Users
Uninstall the ModernMT plugin, install the Lara Translate plugin from the RWS AppStore, and enter your API key.
memoQ Users
Remove the ModernMT provider, add the Lara Translate plugin from the memoQ plugin store, and enter your new API key.
Localization Workflow Users
Lara Translate natively supports Crowdin, Blackbird, n8n, and Google Sheets. Update your API key and you are ready to continue.
